JEREM’J INTERNATIONAL acts as the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Data collected

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

Identification data: last name, first name, title;
Contact data: postal address, e-mail address, telephone number;
Order data: products purchased, amount, date, payment method, delivery address, tracking number;
Billing data: billing details and information required for invoicing and accounting;
Customer relationship data: e-mail or telephone exchanges, complaints, after-sales service requests, customer reviews;

c) Sending information and marketing communications

consent where required (e.g. newsletter subscription for non-customers).

d) Collection of customer reviews

sending review requests following an order,
management of reviews via third-party service providers (e.g. Société des Avis Garantis).

Legal basis: legitimate interest (improving our products and services and informing other customers).

e) Management of disputes and claims

prevention and detection of fraud,
management of unpaid invoices,
defence of our rights in legal proceedings.

Legal basis: legitimate interest / legal obligation.

f) Statistics and website improvement

audience measurement,
improvement of the ergonomics and functionalities of the website,
analysis of website usage.

4. Recipients of the data

Your data may be communicated to:

internal departments of JEREM’J INTERNATIONAL (sales, logistics, accounting, after-sales service);
our technical service providers involved in order processing (hosting provider, payment service provider, carriers, review solution provider, e-mailing provider, etc.).

We ensure that these service providers only have access to the data strictly necessary for the performance of their tasks and that they are contractually bound to comply with applicable regulations.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Transfers of data outside the European Union

In principle, your data is hosted and processed within the European Union.

If certain service providers (e.g. mailing, review or analytics solutions) are located outside the EU or host data outside the EU, we ensure that they offer an adequate level of protection (European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

6. Data retention periods

Your data is kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, in particular:

Order and billing data: for the time necessary to perform the order, then archived for the statutory accounting and tax retention period (generally 10 years);
Customer account data: for as long as the account is active, then deleted or anonymised after a period of inactivity (for example 3 years);
Marketing and prospecting data:
3 years from the last contact or last order,
or until consent is withdrawn;
Browsing data and cookies: duration varies depending on the cookie (see cookies policy), generally up to 13 months for cookies requiring consent.
