Shipping terms
1. Delivery times
Unless specifically requested by the Customer prior to placing the order, orders are processed and shipped as quickly as possible, depending on stock availability and production requirements.
The delivery times indicated on the website or when placing the order are indicative and may vary depending on:
- stock levels,
- production schedule (particularly for products manufactured on demand),
- the time of year,
- the carrier's capacity.
Unless JEREM'J INTERNATIONAL has made a written commitment, no delay may give rise to cancellation, penalties or compensation, subject to the application of legal provisions for consumers.
Once the order has been shipped, transport, delivery times, rescheduling and any delays are the sole responsibility of the carrier.
JEREM'J INTERNATIONAL cannot be held responsible for any change in delivery time, return to sender or incident occurring after the parcel has been handed over to the carrier.
2. Delivery in mainland France
2.1. Delivery costs
- FREE delivery for orders over £350 including VAT.
- For orders under £350 including VAT, a delivery charge applies. The exact amount is indicated in the basket depending on the product and the delivery method.
2.2. Carriers used (without specific selection by the Customer)
Unless otherwise requested in writing, the choice of carrier is at the discretion of JEREM'J INTERNATIONAL:
- Colissimo: Postage with deposit, delivery without signature, tracking, indicative delivery time of 2-3 working days.
- Private carriers (DPD, DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.): Deposit with tracking number, indicative delivery time of 48 hours
3. Delivery in Europe (EEC), Switzerland and the United Kingdom
3.1. Delivery costs
- FREE delivery for orders over £350 including VAT.
- For all orders under £350 including VAT, a delivery charge applies. The exact amount is indicated in the basket depending on the product and the delivery method.
3.2. Carriers used
Unless the Customer makes a specific request confirmed in writing:
- Colissimo: Postage with deposit, delivery without signature, tracking, estimated delivery time of 4 working days.
- Private carriers (DPD, UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.): Deposit with tracking number, estimated delivery time of 2-3 working days.
3.3. VAT – shipments within the EEC (outside France)
- Private individuals: Invoicing including VAT, French VAT applied.
- Businesses: Invoicing excluding VAT only if a valid intra-community VAT number is provided before invoicing. Otherwise, invoicing including VAT.
3.4. Switzerland & United Kingdom
- Individuals: Invoicing excluding VAT. Customs duties, local taxes and import fees are payable by the Customer.
- Companies: Invoicing excluding VAT. Import duties and taxes are payable by the importing company.
The Customer must check with local customs authorities to find out about the formalities and any applicable charges.
4. Delivery outside Europe
4.1. Delivery costs
A flat-rate shipping fee of €35 applies automatically, unless otherwise specified or a specific quote is provided.
Possible carriers:
- Colissimo International: Postage with deposit, tracking, delivery without signature.
- Private carriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx, DPD, etc.): Deposit with tracking number.
4.2. VAT & customs duties
- Individuals: Invoicing excluding VAT. Customs duties, import taxes and administrative fees are payable upon arrival in the destination country.
- Businesses: Invoicing excluding VAT. Import customs fees are payable by the importing company.
It is the Customer's responsibility to find out about the customs procedures applicable in their country before placing an order.
5. Order tracking and absence at the time of delivery
A tracking number is systematically provided to the Customer upon shipment.
The Customer is responsible for tracking their parcel and being available at the time of delivery.
In the event of:
- an incomplete or incorrect address,
- repeated absence at the time of delivery,
- failure to collect from the collection point within the specified time frame,
- any return of the parcel to JEREM'J INTERNATIONAL may result in:
re-invoicing of the return costs,
and, if the Customer requests redelivery, re-invoicing of the transport costs.
6. Seller's reserve
For reasons of security, compliance or optimisation of delivery times, JEREM'J INTERNATIONAL reserves the right:
- to change carriers,
- to split deliveries,
- to modify the shipping method,
at no cost to the Customer and without impacting the quality of service.
